Al’s saying he wants a recount, but Minnesota’s an honest state and it’s hard to imagine where Al will find 601 votes. 601 very nasty knuckledragging comments over at Strib maybe, but 601 votes? I can’t see it happening. I also can’t see myself ever linking to the Strib again, not unless they turn their reporters loose and stop sitting on the real news. Minnesotans got sandbagged by their media outlets and I would encourage as many people as possible to cancel their Strib subscriptions today or tomorrow. Anything worth knowing can be found online, why kill a tree so you can fill your recycling bin a little faster?
I do hope the headline writers at the Strib and PiPress are very, very proud of themselves this morning because they aided and abetted the slimiest eleventh hour attack I’ve ever seen. With their help Norman “Iranians buy my suits” Coleman tied his DonorGate scandal around Al’s neck and made it seem like he was a part of Norman’s sleazy world in which Coleman’s wife is just a handy conduit through which to shovel graft.
Norm had better pray that if this comes down to a jury trial, it’s held in Minnesota.
