Dear reliable and trustworthy person:

I’m trying to sort through all the financial crap, but mostly it seems to be a lot of complicated fol-de-rol in which ultimately taxpayers pay for CEO yachts with the money they were going to use to send their kids to college. Vick got an email that pretty much sums the situation up:

Dear American:

I need to ask you to support an urgent secret business relationship with a transfer of funds of great magnitude.

I am Ministry of the Treasury of the Republic of America. My country has had crisis that has caused the need for large transfer of funds of 800 billion dollars US. If you would assist me in this transfer, it would be most profitable to you.

I am working with Mr. Phil Gramm, lobbyist for UBS, who will be my replacement as Ministry of the Treasury in January. As a Senator, you may know him as the leader of the American banking deregulation movement in the 1990s. This transaction is 100% safe.

This is a matter of great urgency. We need a blank check. We need the funds as quickly as possible. We cannot directly transfer these funds in the names of our close friends because we are constantly under surveillance. My family lawyer advised me that I should look for a reliable and trustworthy person who will act as a next of kin so the funds can be transferred.

Please reply with all of your bank account, IRA and college fund account numbers and those of your children and grandchildren to wallstreetbailout@treasury.gov so that we may transfer your commission for this transaction. After I receive that information, I will respond with detailed information about safeguards that will be used to protect the funds.

Yours Faithfully Minister of Treasury Paulson

T. Boone Pickens, hardly a card carrying Marxist, says Republicans have become almost impossible to work with. Smugly arrogant people usually are. Prentiss Cox, a local law professor, calls Paulson’s plan “reverse criminal action.”

I have a simpler solution. Again, just make theft of over $1 million a capital crime. No, the death penalty doesn’t deter crimes of passion, but it works wonders with chickenshit social climbers aspiring to nouveau bitchiness.

More on Neil Cavuto, racist twat and loser-wad piece of shit.

In an attempt to blame the Democrats in Congress for the current economic meltdown, Cavuto told Rep. Xavier Becerra (D-CA) last week that he should have warned bankers about possible problems with Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.

“I’m just saying,” Cavuto insisted, “I don’t remember a clarion call that said, ‘Fannie and Freddie are a disaster. Loaning to minorities and risky folks is a disaster.’”

If Cavuto were a blue plate special, he’d be Coney Island whitefish slathered with a special Pink Flamingos sauce, adorned with dingleberries and topped with a used butt plug.

The butt plug, of course, would look like this guy. The butt plug, of course, is not edible, and is only meant to be used as garnish. After the meal is over, please return the butt plug to its owner.

Meant to post this last night but I ran out of gas. Troy Davis got his stay of execution. Not from anyone in Georgia, but from the Supreme Court.

In Georgia, the law is still clear. Given a choice between embarrassing white prosecutors and elected officials, or executing an innocent black man, Georgia will still inject the nigger every fucking time.

Salim Muwakkil has more on our broken system of justice.

Couch Pundit just emailed me this link, further proof that the AP (under Ron Fournier) is too busy smearing Obama to manage their own website.

It can’t be said any too often: under Fournier, the Associated Press is a wholly pwned subsidiary of the GOP.

The GOP won’t be caging votes in Minnesota, but don’t give Minn ‘pugs credit because they’d desperately love to end election day voter registration, Minnesota’s sure cure for voter suppression.

FBI to indict 2 Texas men for plan to disrupt RNC

Tharin Robert Gartrell, confessed member of a plot to assassinate Obama, to be charged today on a federal drug charge:

Federal officials decided against charging the men with threatening Obama, and said that the time they were on meth at the time they made the alleged statements and that they posed no credible threat. However, the drug case was moved from state to federal court.

Were Obama death threats real?

The men were found Aug. 24 with high-powered rifles, ammunition, wigs, scopes, fake i.d.’s, radios, camouflage gear and may have ties to White supremacist groups.

According to the federal prosecutor, “They were all on meth. People were one meth head talking to another meth head about life, so we just have to make sure we understand whether they did anything more than this, and at this point, there’s no indication that they did.”

“The whole idea of just dismissing it as not credible is incredible and quite frankly if indeed these were folks who were just ‘crack-heads’ or on methamphetamines, that’s a clear indication that they may indeed want to do something. These things have happened in the past. If you look back in terms of the relationship between the commission of crime and the use of drugs, there’s a clear link there,” said Dr. William Boone, a political science professor at Clark Atlanta University.

U.S.A.G. Troy Eid is the same hyperpartisan fuckwad who earlier prosecuted a federal inmate for having threatened Bush. The black inmate was in prison and had absolutely no way of acting on his threats, but he was prosecuted. Tharin Gartrell, Shawn Adolf, and Nathan Johnson were in Denver with body armor and a high-powered rifle. Eid did not find their threat to be credible because they were on meth.

Earth to Eid: meth increases the likelihood of an assassination plot being carried out.

Somehow I suspect that Eid will release all three men and will return all their weapons to them if Obama happens to return to Colorado for a campaign appearance.

Murdering hateful bastards, and I mean our Bush-appointed USAGs, not white trash losers like Gartrell, Adolf and Johnson.
