Prices

Forgot to mention my trip to Cub yesterday. While I may sometimes notice that the price of one specific product has gone up, or another is worth buying because of a sale, I really don’t pay attention to store prices. I was raised on a farm, and I was raised to believe that when food prices go up, farmers make more money.

Food prices are going up. It seems like everything I’m buying has gone up across the board. And (nudge, nudge, wink, wink) I do mean everything has gotten more expensive.

Another cryptic message meant for others, but probably not you.

When Kathie Jenkins linked to a story about a bacon cheeseburger on a Krispy Kreme “bun,” my first thought was of the Luther Burger. I wasn’t the only one, and now the Gothamist has updated their post to mention the Boondocksian sandwich.
