Surprise, surprise.
Mick also has more on Postville. And yes, that would be the same ICE that lost a nine-year-old boy recently. I’m sure he’ll turn up, much the worse for wear.

Barack Obama’s staff is on the verge of vindicating its belief that the eloquent black freshman senator from Illinois was a unique candidate who could win the Democratic nomination in one of the biggest upsets in presidential politics.
The band of Obama loyalists who imagined that could happen have stunned even themselves with their success against Hillary Rodham Clinton, who appeared to have wrapped up the nomination last year, before any votes were cast.
Inevitability is a steep street on which to drive a campaign. And, if you lose traction, the slide to the bottom is pretty breathtaking.
Not the person her supporters thought she was, and she never accomplished anything of note. Hillary Clinton was, if anything, more strategically incompetent than John Kerry or Al Gore.
That’s saying something.

McCain’s health. Something did turn up after all. He had cancer surgery back in February, but never told anyone. Early stage squamous cell carcinoma. Oh yeah — that sounds pretty benign, and less painful than McCain’s recent reverendectomy.
