Crouching pundit, hidden fishies

Think having a loved one die in Iraq is the end of it? Not hardly. Now the military says they can control who gets to attend the funeral.
The shameful legacy of our “because I said so” president continues to grow, much like the black mold in the bottom of a bachelor’s refrigerator.

The buck, apparently, doesn’t stop anywhere anymore.

Taylor Carik’s Best Blog award isn’t even a day old and already he’s abusing it. (But he is right about these pix — fuckin’ amazing!)

Crouching pundit, hidden fishies. (In the first video, the fish is really well hidden.)

I wonder what Franken’s numbers will be like after the ‘pugs start running their ads?
I’m soooo proud of our NetMasters for having stepped into this race to tell us how to vote last August. But it’s not too late to support Jack Nelson-Pallmeyer! Unless, of course, you weren’t elected as a delegate to the state convention at your SD convention, which required that you had to have been elected as a delegate back at your caucus, assuming you stuck around after casting your presidentiary straw poll ballot.
Minnesota: the only state where casting a vote for a senate nominee is harder than voting was in the original 13 Colonies.

Thanks to Gov. Timmy telling the feds to piss off every time they try to give us transportation funds, Minnesota ranks next to next to last in federal dollars received. If McCain picks Pawlenty, we should insist there be no givebacks: you take him, you keep him.

There are cherries that look like habañeros? I’m not sure that’s a good idea. How hot are habañeros? This hot. (Keep scrolling down. No, further. Yes, that hot.)

Actually, you could support Jack Nelson-Pallmeyer in any number of ways. You could do phone-calling at his Uptown Minneapolis office. You could attend any of several congressional district conventions to provide visibility and persuasion for those delegates who will be going to the state convention in Rochester this June 6 to 8. You could host a house-party to introduce Jack to delegates he hasn’t met yet. You could send him money. You could write letters to the editor. You could even write comments to blogs like this one.
Jack’s an amazing candidate. He has integrity and courage. He “gets it” about war, sustainability, healthcare, schools, and so many issues. If you haven’t see him, go to his website http://www.jackforsenate.org and watch a few video clips. Or read one of his dozen books. You will be surprised what a truly fantastic candidate he is and what an outstanding senator he would be.

[...] Charley Underwood said in a recent comment, let’s not forget about Jack Nelson-Pallmeyer. Let’s also not forget that there’s nothing to stop DFLers from dumping Al for Jack [...]
